Encompassing roughly 32,000 acres of land, the Horicon National Wildlife Refuge provides visitors with a year-round facility for recreational activities such as hiking, biking, cross-country skiing, hunting, fishing and birdwatching. Found on the shores of Lake Winnebago, the 400-acre Lakeside Park draws many people to it throughout the year. From April until September the park opens its many rides, such as the bumper boats, the carousel, the mini-train and the roto whip, for visitors to enjoy.
